Koyrés Vermächtnis: Die Bewältigung moderner Kontingenz durch monetäre Sublimation
Abstract Among all the frustrations modern mankind has had to suffer, we postulate that the Copernican Revolution is the deepest traumatism that has ever occurred in history. Though the importance and the great value of Alexandre Koyré’s From the Closed World to the Infinite Universe (1957) are currently attested, its focus and current reception does not fit with this traumatism. Its insuperability opened only one option: the sublimation of this traumatism by a new image of the world. The traditional conception of a social and ontological synthesis of universal mutual indebtedness will be replaced by a universal synthesis of mutual enrichment. In this new synthesis, it is not the market which plays the central role but the process of monetary expansion fueled by the dematerialization of money.
