Dynamiken der Herabsetzung in humanistischen Kontroversschriften während der Pazzi-Verschwörung

Abstract The article examines some controversial writ­ings written in the course of the so-called Pazzi conspiracy (1478) with a view to dynamics of disparagement. It is em­phasised that these writings transfer the model of agonal invective writings ad personam to a political or ecclesiasti­cal context, and at the same time raise it from the personal level to that of political confrontation.
