Bischöfe im Graph
Zur Transformation großer Datenbestände in eine graphbasierte Umgebung
Autor/innen
The transfer of research data into digital environments offers the possibility of opening up these data in new contexts, addressing new research questions, and enabling new queries within these data. This process is currently being implemented in an exemplary manner with data that was collected during preliminary work on the ‘Regesta Imperii’ academy project. The focus is on German bishops between 1024 and 1125 in their relationships with kingship and papacy. The aim of the project is to transform the data currently available in a text file into a graph-based environment. This article provides information about the source material, the necessary preparatory work in the form of a conversion of the material into a tabular form for importing into the graph database, and the initial results of the transformation.
